Managed Service Provider Practice Lead

Are you looking for a position that allows you to engage with the top cloud providers, build a managed service provider network with the leading object storage security ISV, and build a customer install base while participating in the seismic shift to the cloud?

Cloud Storage Security (CSS) is looking for a proven sales leader to work with customers and managed service providers to deliver a comprehensive data storage security platform.  In this role, you will work with the top managed service providers (MSP) and managed security service providers (MSSP) creating a new channel and managed storage service leveraging the industry-leading malware detection and data classification solution for cloud object storage. You will own all aspects of engagement, enablement, service creation, and delivery to the MSPs and MSSPs. You will create scalable services and programs to equip the broad ecosystem of AWS and Azure partners to deliver a needed service not provided by the cloud platform providers.

The role of Managed Service Provider Practice Lead requires someone who simultaneously acts as a market maker, operator, and general manager for their own partner accounts. With a focus on customer outcomes, they must work to enhance the current service providers offerings, win new customers, secure lighthouse customers, drive revenue for new services, and develop strategic partnerships.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a role dedicated to channel, and cloud information security

  • 5+ years of field sales or business development representing a large technology channel/marketplace ecosystem

  • BA/BS degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, consistent with developing C-level enterprise customer relationships

  • Demonstrated ability to work across a matrixed, cross-functional team

  • Sales overlay experience (as a channel manager, specialist, SME, etc)

  • Experience working with or selling in cloud computing environments

  • Ability to operate successfully and independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and curious to learn new skills
