Who We’re Looking For

Cloud Storage Security is seeking a talented and highly motivated Product Manager. The right person for this position shows initiative, takes ownership, and is able to negotiate, influence, inspire, and motivate. This is a full-time permanent position working remotely with some travel as needed. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research
    • Research and articulate competitive analysis
    • Validate market fit and pricing
    • Maintain a deep understanding of target market and buyer personas
    • Engage customers to collect feedback, understand challenges and define products requirements
    • Help define and maintain value propositions
  • Marketing & Sales Support
    • Contribute to go-to-market strategy
    • Help develop marketing assets such as case studies, demo videos, blogs, and webinars by providing technical perspective and contributing differentiated messaging and positioning
    • Increase product use and adoption by collaborating with go-to-market team and partners on product trials, user-focused onboarding, co-marketing and sales training 
    • Attend customer-facing meetings
    • Communicate closely with partners, stakeholders and customers to understand how to best maximize business value through our products
    • Provide support as needed, including responding to field/customer concerns and holding office hours
    • Present at in-person and online events
  • Product Development
    • Work closely with engineering to understand all aspects of each product
    • Contribute to product strategy; drive and maintain product roadmap 
    • Collaborate with engineering to prioritize feature development 
    • Successfully manage new product and significant feature launches


  • 5+ years experience supporting B2B software product development, product management, sales, and/or marketing  
  • BS in a relevant field
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms and their service offerings (especially AWS and Amazon S3) as well as cloud computing, DevOps, cloud security, compliance and networking concepts 
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills with prior experience producing content for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A good balance of quantitative and qualitative skills as well as a creative mindset
  • A track record of working with iterative "customer-led" design and development
  • Able to effectively balance technical capabilities and bridge the gap between end-users, partners, sales, marketing, engineers

Bonus Points

  • MBA or advanced CS degree
  • AWS accreditations and/or certifications (if not currently held, will be required within year one)
  • Experience migrating a customer from on-prem to Cloud
  • Experience in Partner Marketing or Marketplace Marketing
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, ZenDesk
